After the Republic Electoral Commission had adopted the Decision on the publication of the total number of voters in the Republic of Serbia and the Decree establishing the number of ballots for the voting in the parliamentary elections called for 21 June 2020, today, in the presence of the Chairperson of the Republic Electoral Commission Vladimir Dimitrijevic, Secretary Srdjan Smiljanic and Commission members, as well as the observers authorized to monitor the work of the bodies in charge of conducting the elections and media representatives, the Official Gazette Public Enterprise printing house began printing the ballots.

On the occasion, the Chairperson of the Republic Electoral Commission Vladimir Dimitrijevic stated that 6,616,583 ballots will be printed viz.: 6,583,665 – the total number of voters in the Republic of Serbia as noted on 5 June 2020, plus 32,918 spare ballots, which is 0.5 % of the total number of voters, as stipulated by the Law. The ballots will be printed in 12 languages and 29 language variants, said Dimitrijevic, and voting will take place at 8,386 polling stations.

As previously determined by REC Decision, the colour of the ballot is pink, while the colour of the control card to test the integrity of the ballot box is turquoise.
