The Republic Electoral Commission held its third regular press conference on 21 June 2020, at 5 pm and reported the voter turnout by 4 pm.
The Director of the Republic Statistical Office Dr Miladin Kovacevic shared the voter turnout data obtained from 362 polling stations in 93 municipalities, according to which 33.42% of eligible citizens had taken the vote in the Republic of Serbia, without Kosovo-Metohija, by 4 pm, and about 35% of eligible citizens on the territory of Serbia with Kosovo-Metohija. 35.59% of eligible citizens had taken the vote in the region of Vojvodina, 35.96% in Sumadija and Western Serbia, 32.57% in the region of Southern and Eastern Serbia and 27.74% in the region of Belgrade. Per city, by 4 pm, 30.16% of voters turned out in Novi Sad, 29.99% in Nis and 31.86% in Kragujevac.
The Chairperson of the Republic Electoral Commission Vladimir Dimitrijevic said that so far there have been no major procedural irregularities at the polling stations. He reminded the voters that less than 3 hours remain until the closing of the polling stations and urged them to go and vote.
The press conference was also attended by the Secretary of the Republic Electoral Commission Srdjan Smiljanic.
