Today, Serbia holds elections for national minority council members, wherein 19 national minorities will be electing their representatives in the national minority councils in a direct vote, while four will do so via an assembly of electors.

All of the polling stations, 949 of them, for the direct elections of national minority council members were opened at 7 am.

So far, there have been no irregularities and the voters on the special electoral rolls can exercise their right to vote in the direct elections until 8 pm.
