The Chairperson of the Republic Electoral Commission Vladimir Dimitrijevic met with the Director of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Mariа Telalian. On the occasion, he thanked ODIHR for its cooperation and continuous support it provides to the improvement of the electoral process in the Republic of Serbia.

Chairperson Dimitrijevic informed Ms Telalian about the activities the Republic Electoral Commission conducts in order to boost transparency and efficiency of the electoral system, with a special focus on the continuous trainings of the electoral administration, and the participation of the Republic Electoral Commission members in the drafting of the Law on the Unified Electoral Roll.
He also presented the process of public hearings on the abovementioned law, stressing that Republic Electoral Commission members proposed by the opposition also took part in them.
The Republic Electoral Commission remains committed to future cooperation with ODIHR aimed at the further improvement of the electoral process.
