26th Session of the Republic Electoral Commission

At the session held on 21 September 2026, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted a number of decision and decrees concerning the conduct of the elections for National Assembly MPs called for 25 October 2026.

The Republic Electoral Commission proclaimed Electoral List SDA Sandzak – PROTECTORS OF SANDZAK for the parliamentary elections called for 25 October 2026.

The REC members also adopted a Decree establishing that Electoral List SDA Sandzak – PROTECTORS OF SANDZAK has the status of national minority list in the parliamentary elections called for 25 October 2026.

The Commission proceeded to adopt the Decree to appoint a member and substitute member into the expanded composition of the Republic Electoral Commission at the proposal of the submitter of Electoral List SDA Sandzak – PROTECTORS OF SANDZAK, appointing Enis Zekovic from Novi Pazar member, and Djemil Sijaric from Novi Pazar substitute member.

The Republic Electoral Commission also adopted decisions on the dismissals and termination of office in local electoral commissions, as well as decisions on the appointment into local electoral commissions.

The members of the Republic Electoral Commission also ruled on the objection lodged by voter Slobodan Milovanovic from Belgrade and rejected it as lodged by an unauthorized person.

They also ruled on the objection lodged by voter Sava Djurdjic from Novi Sad and rejected it as untimely.

The session was chaired by Vladimir Dimitrijevic, Chairperson of the Republic Electoral Commission.
