61st Session of the Republic Electoral Commission

At the session held on 18 October 2026, the members of the Republic Electoral Commission passed the Decision amending and modifying the Decision on the establishment of number, composition and area of the Republic Electoral Commission working bodies, as well as the Decision on the establishment of working bodies for conduct of the direct elections for national minority councils called for 8 November 2026.

The Commission also passed the Decision designating polling stations for the conduct of the direct elections for national minority councils and decisions on the forms for the submission of lists of candidates and for the performance of electoral activities in the course of the conduct of the elections for members of national minority councils via an assembly of electors called for 8 November 2026.

The REC members went on to pass decisions on compensations for the members of the boards for the conduct of the elections for members of national minority councils via an assembly of electors, as well as compensations and other expenses for the conduct of the direct elections for members of national minority councils.

The session was chaired by Marko Jankovic, Deputy Chairperson of the Republic Electoral Commission.
