At its second session, held on 20 April 2023, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted a Decree on the allocation of an MP’s term of office for the purpose of filling a vacant seat at the National Assembly.
The Deputy Chairperson of the Republic Electoral Commission Marko Jankovic said that National Assembly had informed the Republic Electoral Commission that, at the First Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2023, on 19 April 2023, it had noted the termination of the term of office of MP Nenad Filipovic, on the day he tendered his resignation.
Consequently, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree on the allocation of a term of office for the purpose of filling a vacant seat at the National Assembly to the first candidate next in line on the Electoral List IVICA DACIC – PRIME MINISTER OF SERBIA – Dejan Manic.
The Republic Electoral Commission then adopted the Decision amending the Decision on the appointment of members of the Board for the conduct of the elections for members of the National Council of the Albanian National Minority via an assembly of electors called for 7 May 2023, replacing Natasa Zivkovic in the position of Board member by Milan Culjkovic, Bachelor of Laws.
The session was chaired by Marko Jankovic, Deputy Chairperson of the Republic Electoral Commission.
