44th, 45th and 46th Session of the Republic Electoral Commission

At the sessions held on 29 December 2023, the Republic Electoral Commission ruled on two complaints lodged by the submitter of the Electoral List of Candidates for Councillors of the Belgrade City Assembly SERBIA AGAINST VIOLENCE – DOBRICA VESELINOVIC – PROF. DR VELIMIR OBRADOVIC (PARTY OF FREEDOM AND JUSTICE, PEOPLE’S MOVEMENT OF SEBIA, GREEN – LEFT FRONT, DON’T LET BELGRADE D(R)OWN, ECOLOGICAL UPRISING – CUTA, DEMOCRATIC PARTY, MOVEMENT OF FREE CITIZENS, SERBIA CENTRE, TOGETHER, MOVEMENT FOR REVERSAL, UNITED TRADE UNIONS OF SERBIA “SLOGA”, NEW FACE OF SERBIA), which it rejected as lodged by an unauthorised person.

The Commission also ruled on five complaints lodged by Andrej Meleg, authorised person of the COALITION OF SERBIA AGAINST VIOLENCE, against the Decision of the Electoral Commission of the Municipality of Backi Petrovac. Three complaints were rejected as unfounded and two were accepted, and the Republic Electoral Commission issued Decisions on a repeat vote at polling stations 4 and 11, in the municipality of Backi Petrovac.

The Commission went on to rule on 70 complaints lodged by the submitter of the Electoral List MILICA DJURDJEVIC STAMENKOVSKI – BOSKO OBRADOVIC – NATIONAL GATHERING – STATE-BUILDING FORCE - Serbian Party Oathkeepers - Serbian Movement Dveri, against the Decision of the Backa Topola Municipal Electoral Commission, against two decisions of the Electoral Commission of the Municipality of Kovacica, against the Decision of the Electoral Commission of the city municipality of Rakovica, against six decisions of the Electoral Commission of the City of Cacak, against the Decision of the Municipal Electoral Commission of the municipality of Petrovac na Mlavi, against the Decision of the Municipal Electoral Commission of the municipality of Ub, against two decisions of the Electoral Commission of the city municipality of Mladenovac, against three decisions of the Electoral Commission of the city municipality of Cukarica, against three decisions of the Municipal Electoral Commission of the municipality of Mionica, against three decisions of the City Electoral Commission for the conduct of the elections for councillors of the City of Valjevo, against three decisions of the Municipal Electoral Commission of the municipality of Backa Palanka, against the Decision of the Zitiste Municipal Electoral Commission, against the Decision of the Electoral Commission of the municipality of Despotovac, against the Decision of the Municipal Electoral commission of the municipality of Zagubica. The REC also ruled on the complaints lodged against the Decision of the Electoral Commission of the municipality of Obrenovac, against the Decision of the Municipal Electoral Commission of the Municipality of Vrbas, against the Decision of the City Electoral Commission of the City of Krusevac and two decisions of the City Electoral Commission of the City of Jagodina, as well as on two complaints lodged against the decision of the Municipal Electoral Commission of the city municipality of New Belgrade, two complaints lodged against the decision of the Electoral Commission of the Municipality of Negotin and five complaints lodged against the decision of the Electoral Commission of the Municipality of Zitoradja.

The Republic Electoral Commission rejected 62 of the complaints as unfounded and adopted decisions on the basis of which the Republic Electoral Commission annuled the voting at eight polling stations:

1) polling station no. 4 in the municipality of Backi Petrovac;

2) polling station no. 11 in the municipality of Backi Petrovac;

3) polling station no. 2 in the municipality of Bela Palanka;

4) polling station no. 12 in the municipality of Bela Palanka;

5) polling station no. 37 in the municipality of Bela Palanka;

6) polling station no. 4 in the municipality of Beocin;

7) polling station no. 20 in the municipality of Mionica;

8) polling station no. 7 in the municipality of Petrovac na Mlavi;
