At the session held on 8 July 2026, the Republic Electoral Commission adopted a Decree on the allocation of an MP’s term of office for the purpose of filling a vacant seat at the National Assembly.
The National Assembly had informed the Republic Electoral Commission that, at the Eighth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 14th Legislature, on 6 July 2026, it had noted the termination of the term of office of MP Prof. Dr Jelena Jerinic elected from the Electoral List SERBIA AGAINST VIOLENCE – MIROSLAV MIKI ALEKSIC – MARINIKA TEPIC (PARTY OF FREEDOM AND JUSTICE, PEOPLE’S MOVEMENT OF SEBIA, GREEN – LEFT FRONT, DON’T LET BELGRADE D(R)OWN, ECOLOGICAL UPRISING – CUTA, DEMOCRATIC PARTY, MOVEMENT OF FREE CITIZENS, SERBIA CENTRE, TOGETHER, MOVEMENT FOR REVERSAL, UNITED TRADE UNIONS OF SERBIA “SLOGA”, NEW FACE OF SERBIA), on the day she tendered her resignation.
The Republic Electoral Commission adopted the Decree on the allocation of an MP’s term of office for the purpose of filling a vacant seat at the National Assembly to Andjela Ruvidic, elected from the same Electoral List.
The Republic Electoral Commission went on to adopt the Decision on awarding the contract for the public procurement of ballot boxes.
