PRINTING OF BALLOTS FOR DIRECT ELECTIONS OF NATIONAL MINORITY COUNCIL MEMBERS BEGINS

The printing of ballots for the direct elections for members of national minority councils, called for 8 November 2026, began tonight in the Official Gazette Public Enterprise printing house.

The printing began in the presence of the Deputy Chairperson of the Republic Electoral Commission Marko Jankovic and representatives of the submitters of the electoral lists.

Of the 23 national councils of national minorities, the members of 21 are elected in a direct election, while two are elected via an assembly of electors. 481,157 ballots will be printed for the direct elections for members of national minority councils and the vote will be conducted on 8 November 2026, at 949 polling stations, while the assemblies of electors will be organised in the National Assembly Building, 14 Kralja Milana Street.
